Acts of Loneliness is a collection of event / performance scores created back in 2018 and revised in 2023 by Matthew Taggart of PCRV / Luer. Taggart has always had an interest in Fluxus scores and artists such as George Brecht. In the mid-2000s Taggart created and performed many event scores and was active in the contemporary Fluxus scene but then his focus came back to audio till recently. This collection is based on some new ideas he had been working with that explores the ideas of unperformable events or surreal realtime still life using immediatism and improvisation as starting points. This small collection contains 8 scores that can be treated as poems, performances, events or starting points to thinking outside the box in experimental music and performance.
This edition is handmade. A simple zine style collection on regular white printer paper. The cost is only to cover the postage. Added bonus is a few free download codes included.
