Dawid Scumwalski There's plenty of very interesting, inspiring layers which don't sound like a 40-years old modular noob going "hah this module I just dropped $1.500 on has triple VCAs with a blend matrix and you can install custom firmware on it, so of course I can make an entire album on it even though I barely understand what it does." This sounds like a mature approach to modular-based music, with interesting sounds, very little cliche modular bleeps and bloops. I listened to it a couple of times in a row!

Two Fargo ND-based noise artists share a C30 together on Fluxus MT. Luer is PCRV's Matt Taggart's new project. Drone heavy noise with bouts of cutup and junk noise scattered within. an expansion of PCRV's ideas and then some. Support Unit continues his HNW attacks with a new track called Criminality. Support Unit's Brandon Wald is one of the scenes busiest and supportive artists today. Definitely one artist to keep tabs on.
